European studies have shown that ginkgo increases blood flow to the brain and extremities, helping to improve memory and mental sharpness. Ginkgo flavone glycosides are a balanced group of bioflavonoids primarily responsible for ginkgo’s ability to inhibit platelet aggregation (stickiness) and its antioxidant activity.Terpene lactones (ginkgolides and bilobalide) improve circulation, inhibit platelet activating factor (PAF) and protect nerve cells. Too much PAF causes platelets to clump together, and is associated with nerve cell damage.*

Suggested Usage: 1 capsule, 2-3 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. For use beyond 6 weeks, consult a health care practitioner.

Other Ingredients: Gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water), rice powder, magnesium stearate (vegetable grade).

Contains no: artificial preservatives, color, or sweeteners, no corn, dairy, soy, wheat or yeast.

Caution: There does not appear to be an appropriate use for children at this time. Pregnancy and Nursing: The German Commission E gives no restrictions during pregnancy and lactation. However, due to ginkgo's pharmacological actions and lack of toxicity data, use of ginkgo during pregnancy and lactation should be avoided.
